The Valley Forge CPCU Society Chapter is proud to offer in June an (8) CE education event on the beautiful campus of The Institutes in Malvern. Come join us for both the morning and afternoon sessions, or for only the morning or afternoon sessions.

Both sessions are presented by internationally-recognized insurance educator, Bryan Tilden.

Directors & Officers Liability

This course - which will cover both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations, will discuss the history of Directors & Officers (D&O) exposure, as well as the impact on the form of business entity, legal duties of directors and officers, standards of care and defenses that may be available to them. It discusses coverage for directors and officers under various policies, suggests why D & O coverage is necessary for various types of organizations, and analyzes various insuring agreements.

Insuring the Home-Based Business

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates there are more than 18.3 million home-based businesses in the US, which translates into one in five homes having businesses. Many insurance and risk management professionals have expresses concerns that these businesses might not have appropriate insurance coverage. Attend this course to discover the loss exposures faced by these entrepreneurs and the risk financing techniques that can be used to treat them.
